Federal regulations require that we determine your ability to repay so we collect your monthly housing payment as part of the application process for an unsecured credit card. The information is used to ensure that you can support minimum credit card payments as long as your fixed expenses are manageable relative to your income.
We appreciate receiving only the applicant’s full, accurate income information. Should you receive a request to verify your income, please be aware that we cannot include the income of other third parties (such as a spouse or parent), because they would not be obligated to repay any debt associated with your credit card account.
Generally, the application process can take up to 14 business days. Please note: During this time of economic and social disruption, we are receiving high numbers of fraudulent applications. For your protection, we may request additional documentation to verify your identify and income.
If you would like to withdraw your application, you can send an email to email@example.com. You will not be extended credit, but the inquiry on your credit report will remain.

Purchases made for the first 12 months after account opening do not accrue interest. The rate for accounts open longer than 12 months is based on your creditworthiness. These APRs will vary with the market based on the prime rate. (See here for the current rate.) You will still be required to make a minimum monthly payment. If you make a late payment, we may end your introductory APR and apply your standard APR.
You may request a balance transfer online or by phone. If accepted, ABOC will send a check for the requested amount to the institution you are transferring a balance from. You must allow up to 30 days for your balance transfer request to be completed. You should continue to make your minimum payments in the meantime. You may be declined if you do not have enough available credit. Your APR will be based on your creditworthiness, and will vary with the market based on the prime rate.
